“ I finally got to try this place, which is a bit embarrassing as I've lived a few blocks away since it opened. Really cute spot. Some seating indoors and a nice sized outdoor patio. I wish I could have gotten more indoor photos, but it was too busy (that's a good thing!) The wife had an iced coffee. She liked it, but they forgot her vanilla flavor shot. The croissants were delicious. We both got chocolate. Very fresh and very flakey. I would not recommend eating in your car while driving. We will definitely make an effort to get back here sooner rather than later. ”
“ Great coffee, very good baking, and maybe the best breakfast sandwich Ive ever had. They also have such a nice patio deck, that one lad opted to enjoy it on a cold January day . Will come back whenever Im back in town for sure. ... ”
“ I’ve just discovered Ori and I am so pleased that I did. A cozy spot on Wyse Road in Dartmouth that serves an amazing breakfast sandwich and a lovely flat white. I took home a stunning danish with grapes and pistachios. ”
“ Here’s a polished review for ORI Foods Cafe: ORI Foods Cafe in Dartmouth is a hidden gem that truly delights the taste buds! We tried the veggie breakfast sandwich, and it was an absolute standout with a perfect blend of fresh, flavorful ingredients. The BBQ squash grilled cheese was a unique twist on a classic, and it did not disappoint—so hearty and delicious. The rainbow trout was expertly prepared, showcasing the cafe’s attention to detail in every dish. For dessert, the creme brulee was silky and decadent, and the sour cream Danish was the perfect mix of tangy and sweet. To top it all off, we enjoyed a beautifully crafted cortado that tied the whole experience together. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable. If you’re in Dartmouth, ORI Foods Cafe is a must-visit for incredible food and a cozy cafe vibe. Highly recommended! ”
“ 10/10 on the pastries and deserts! The creme brulee cookies are divine; the strawberry lemon tart is perfectly balanced; the other things we tried were awesome as well. ”
“ My friend and I went to Ori Foods yesterday for a nice brunch and found the food was beyond expectations. My friend ordered the octopus on the special menu and I got a lamb flatbread. Both of us enjoyed the food from the first bite. The flatbread tasted crunchy and juicy; the green onions and the sour cream on top added to the richness of the sauce, which I used a piece of croissant to save and savor. And the croissant was wonderful too! ”
“ A great creative dish and a great service. Unexpected to have such a high quality food at a little cafe. Only 4 tables are available inside and some customers are not mindful about other customers waiting at the door and take their time to enjoy lingering. Unagi (eels) crepe was a fantastic dish and very affordable for what it is. Definitely go back. Wish it was on the other side of the bay;). ”
“ Ori Foods Co. 258 Wyse Road in Dartmouth Wow! Went for lunch today & was amazed by the big flavours in this tiny spot! There isn’t an extensive menu & their specials change daily. I had their Grilled Cheese with Barbequed squash and their Pumpkin Miso soup. Presentation & taste 12/10. My friend had the breakfast sandwich with house-made sausage on a house-made bun. My bill was 19.00, mind you I only had water to drink & there was no tax & that was before tip. Very reasonable for the quality. Their special today was pheasant! We didn’t try the lovely pastries but they looked awesome. Drawbacks would be only 4 small tables that sit 2 each, no parking to speak of, limited variety of alcohol (but the coffee & tea selection looked great) & only open until 4pm. They have a patio so that would be a great place when the weather is a bit warmer. Check them out on Instagram. ”
